Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect information when you explore, enquire about or book a Dreamer Marine yacht charter.

Effective: 29 October 2026 · Thailand Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019)

This notice covers our public website, enquiries, charter bookings and related customer operations. It does not replace specific notices we may provide if we later request identity or insurance documents.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

Dreamer Marine (“we”, “us”, or “our”) manages enquiries, yacht-charter requests and related customer services through dreamermarine.com. We act as the personal-data controller for information collected for our own charter operations. Where an independent yacht owner or operator determines their own processing purposes, that party may also act as a separate controller.

Contact: sales@dreamermarine.com | +66 82 991 0707 | 52/16 Moo 6, Thepkrasattri Road, Rassada, Mueang Phuket, Phuket 83000, Thailand. Please use the email address with “Privacy Request” in the subject for data protection enquiries.

2. Personal information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, booking reference, yacht and destination selections, requested dates, passenger count, additional passenger names voluntarily supplied, itinerary and pickup requests, enquiries and correspondence.

For confirmed charters, we may subsequently request passenger identification, nationality, age, emergency-contact or insurance-related information only where genuinely necessary for maritime safety, insurance, legal compliance or the agreed service. We will explain the specific requirement at the time. Please do not send passport copies, health details or other sensitive information through an open message unless we have requested them through an appropriate channel.

We may also receive account information, transaction confirmations or payment status from payment service providers, and technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, security logs and essential session information when you use our website.

3. Why we use your information and legal bases

We process necessary information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, check yacht availability, take charter requests, communicate with you and perform a contract or take steps requested before entering a contract.

We may process records to meet applicable legal, accounting, tax, maritime or regulatory obligations; for legitimate interests such as preventing fraud, protecting vessels and guests, maintaining security, handling complaints and improving service, where those interests do not override your rights; or to protect vital interests in an emergency.

Where legally required, we request your consent separately, for example for optional marketing or any sensitive personal information that requires explicit consent and does not fall under a lawful exception. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Information needed for bookings

Your contact information, selected service and proposed charter details are necessary to process a booking request or quotation. Without them, we may be unable to provide the requested service. Additional passenger names at the initial enquiry stage are optional unless we specifically notify you that they are needed for a confirmed charter or another lawful purpose.

A charter enquiry is not confirmation of availability, pricing or payment. Special routes, extra days, overnight stays and alternative pickup arrangements may require a separate quotation.

5. Who may receive the information

Where necessary, we may share relevant details with authorized Dreamer Marine staff, vessel owners and operators, captains and crew, marina or transfer partners, insurers, professional advisers, payment processors, hosting and software providers, customer communication providers and public authorities when required by law.

We limit sharing to information needed for the relevant purpose and require appropriate confidentiality and security arrangements where applicable. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

6. International storage and transfers

Some technology, hosting, email, payment and support providers may process information outside Thailand. When an international transfer is subject to Thailand’s PDPA, we assess and apply a lawful transfer mechanism or appropriate safeguards as required by Sections 28–29 and applicable regulations. You can ask us for information about relevant transfers and safeguards.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep enquiry records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and manage follow-ups. We retain charter, payment, accounting, safety and dispute-related records for periods required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. When no longer needed, records should be deleted or anonymized securely.

Retention depends on the type of record, statutory requirements, the existence of a booking or dispute and operational needs. You may ask us for the period or criteria applicable to a particular record. We do not claim that all categories are automatically deleted after the same fixed period.

8. Cookies and third-party services

Our website and authentication or hosting services may use essential cookies and similar technologies for session management, security, functionality and preferences. External services such as payment pages, maps, embedded media or messaging links may have their own privacy notices and cookies when opened or used.

If we introduce non-essential advertising or analytics cookies that require consent, we will need to implement appropriate notice and choice controls before activating them. You can manage cookies through your browser; disabling essential cookies may affect some website functions.

9. Protecting your information

We aim to apply access controls, appropriate administrative and technical safeguards, restricted staff permissions and reasonable measures against unauthorized access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We review suspected incidents and meet notification obligations where applicable under Thai law.

10. Your rights under Thailand’s PDPA

Subject to applicable conditions and exemptions, you may request access to and a copy of your personal data; correction of inaccurate information; deletion or anonymization; restriction of processing; portability where applicable; objection to certain processing including direct marketing; and withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent.

You may also complain to the Thai Personal Data Protection Committee or the competent supervisory authority. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may lawfully retain some information despite a deletion request.

11. Children and information about other passengers

Bookings should be submitted by a person authorized to make the arrangements. If you supply information about other guests, please inform them of this notice and provide only information needed for the charter. Where a child’s personal data requires parental or guardian authorization under applicable law, we will seek that authorization when necessary.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our services, vendors or legal obligations change. The date shown on this page identifies the current version. Material changes affecting how we process your data will be communicated where required by law.
